It might be just the inspiration you’re looking for your own indoor plant collection this year.
This response was very quick from one member of the team! It’s a striking addition to any home, and low maintenance which is an ideal combination for many of us. Do remember that Yucca leaves need dusting with a damp cloth, and that it may not be suitable for you if you have curious pets in your house.
Another big choice with statement greenery and also fairly easy to look after. When mature it can be approx. 2m in height! However, it will quickly show signs of neglect if the watering schedule is not right, or if it’s placed in harsh direct sunlight.
This team member chose this as their favourite for its striking foliage, with bright veins of colour. It only needs indirect light, and the leaves will move throughout the day to follow it around the room. They managed to find the perfect combination of placement and our 04 Houseplants biostimulant – even through the winter their plant is growing lots of new leaves. That’s pretty impressive if you ask us!
A rogue choice of indoor plant maybe? But in a very sunny spot or with the help of a grow light, these pretty flowers can be grown in pots inside. So why were these chosen? “When the flowers die they look like skulls, making them the most metal plants out there!”
Perhaps the second most mental indoor plant? Maybe we need to discuss in a future blogpost. These are carnivorous plants. Like other plants they use photosynthesis to generate their own food, but they cannot process nutrients from the soil. To supplement their diet they consume insects instead.
Finally, the most popular choice. Lots of varieties, but all of them with beautiful sculptural leaves. They’re really low maintenance and are excellent air purifiers, capable of removing toxins from the air in your home.
